The She Rocks Awards pays tribute to women who display leadership and stand out within the music industry, and has become a standard at the NAMM Show. Once again, Mad Sun teamed with Casio and radio station Lightning 100 for Summer NAMM events, including a live broadcast from the floor of the NAMM show at the Music City Center, as well as an evening showcase/party. The events feature Nashville artists Daniel Ellsworth and the Great Lakes, Tom Brislin and Marie Hines.
We worked with NAMM to develop the Women’s International Music Network’s She Rocks Showcase in the Round, an event spotlighting some of today’s brightest female songwriters. The event takes place at the Music City Center in Nashville during Summer NAMM.
We produced the second annual She Rocks Awards which took place during the 2014 NAMM Show. The event brought together a sold-out room of industry professionals, music icons, artists, fans, media and more to pay tribute to women who display leadership and stand out within the music industry.
The event featured appearances from award winners Sheila E., Janie L. Hendrix, Gaby Moreno, Malina Moye, Dinah Gretsch, Robin Walenta, Maricela “MJ” Juarez and Beth Marlis. The Command Sisters, Gaby Moreno and Malina Moye also gave exclusive performances.
